Imran was urged by Rana Sanaullah to evaluate the security and “alter his behavior”

Rana Sanaullah, the interior minister, described it as “extremely saddening” because PTI Chairman Imran Khan accused individuals of his attempted assassination without conducting an investigation or providing any evidence.

The interior minister, Rana Sanaullah urged Imran Khan & expressed concern about the leaked statement of the suspect who was apprehended at the crime scene and questioned why a first information report (FIR) in the case had not yet been registered at a press conference in Islamabad today.
“The suspect makes some extremely alarming and deadly statements in the video. Such claims have also been made in the past. Additionally, similar narratives may be fueled after the video became popular.
Sanaullah continued that as a result, the government had asked Imran to “alter his behaviors” and examine his security.
He added that Imran should view the government as political opponents and not as adversaries, saying, “We do not want to frighten or stop his long march but it is vital to bring these concerns to light.”

The interior ministry on Thursday urged the Punjab government to form a high-level joint investigative team (JIT) “to bring facts to light” following an attempted assassination on PTI Chairman Imran Khan in Wazirabad.

The federal government has contacted the Punjab government about this, according to a statement released late on Thursday. Senior police officers and intelligence people were requested in the communiqué to be a part of the JIT.

Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah had earlier stated that the JIT should be composed of senior officials for a “credible and transparent inquiry” into the incident during a press conference with Information Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb. He also guaranteed the provincial government the center’s “full cooperation” with the investigation.
He criticized PTI leaders Asad Umar and Shireen Mazari for accusing the senior military and government figures of the tragedy without providing any evidence or supporting documentation.

You also do not dwell in the skies, Mr. Sanaullah chided PTI leader Fawad Chaudhry for reportedly encouraging people to attack opposition politicians’ homes. Violence breeds violence, and the fire you start will consume you as well.

The minister confirmed that the PTI chairman was the target of threats to his life, but he also said that he was protected by impenetrable security measures. In the wake of the incident, he also counseled the PTI leader to alter his course of conduct.
